Sydney Badway is an actress and singer born and based in New York City. She is a graduate of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, where she received a BFA in Drama. Sydney studied the Meisner Technique at the Meisner Studio, and spent a semester studying at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London. She has had the incredible opportunity to perform Off-Broadway and Off-Off-Broadway as well as in various regional theatres. Her production credits demonstrate her versatility as an actress in both comedic and dramatic styles. Sydney has been trained in both classical and contemporary styles of theatre, and is certified in broadsword stage combat from the BASSC. She has a great deal of experience with clowning, Williamson, Suzuki, and Alexander movement techniques. When Sydney is not working, she is most likely invested in a good streaming service or a stack of books as it is her only quiet escape from the times we live in. Growing up in a half-Lebanese and half-Jewish household she learned to project her voice to be heard, and is totally okay with being the loudest voice in the room. Sydney is not afraid to work hard and defy every expectation and limit that has been previously set for her.
